Own the Night

Bad things tend to happen most frequently in the dark. Through training and awareness we can gain both confidence and safety when we find ourselves in this environment. This is an 8 hour introduction to Low-light Handgun course providing students the skills and knowledge necessary to illuminate, identify and if necessary engage threats in low light environments. Students will learn comprehensive skills, techniques and applications of weapons and handheld light manipulations, in a spectrum of full light to extreme low light conditions. At the end of the course, Students will be able to understand low light vision, hand held / weapons mounted light selection and set up, and shooting in low light conditions.

Graduates receive an OTG diploma and a Streamlight Protac 1L-1AA flashlight

Equipment List

  • Pistol
  • Sturdy Belt with holster and at least 1 magazine pouch
  • Minimum of 3 pistol magazines
  • Weapon Mounted (if available) and Handheld light
  • Spare batteries for all lights/electronics
  • 350 rounds of pistol ammunition
  • Fresh Note book
  • Pen, pencils

Prerequisite:

Law Abiding US Citizen or ITAR approved Person. Successful completion of OTG Concealed Carry in Practice or similar course completion from a reputable instructor.

Cost:

$250 per Student
