Officer Rescue Tactics

OTG Officer Rescue Tactics course is a 24 Hour, 3 day Tennessee POST certified Officer Rescue course which will reinforce marksmanship fundamentals, combat stress management, pre-incident planning and TTP development, mental preparation, teach techniques options when faced with a downed officer, movement, use of cover, fighting from unusual positions, an introduction to team tactics, gear selection, introduction to tactical combat casualty care, and on-going self training tools.

 

This course is very fast paced and physical. Students are expected to be proficient with their weapons systems prior to arriving. Zeros should be verified prior to arrival for course.  Skills will be verified through practical exercises. This class will encompass both Live fire and Force on Force training. FoF equipment will be provided by OTG and consist of UTM weapons, safety gear and ammunition. OTG’s Side arms are G17 platform weapons. If your department uses another platform you are welcome to bring your agency’s Simunitions or UTM pistols and ammunition for use in the class. ONLY UTM OR SIMUNITIONS BRAND FOF EQUIPMENT MAY BE USED IN THIS CLASS.

 

Prerequisites:

Students must be Sworn Law Enforcement Officers (Local, State or Federal agencies)

 

Equipment List:

    • Duty Handgun w/ 3 mags and duty belt
    • 200 rounds handgun ammunition
    • Rifle w/ sling and 3-4 magazines
    • 400 rounds rifle ammunition 
    • High intensity duty flashlight and backup
    • 3 chem-lights / cylume sticks
    • Bag for rifle magazines and medical equipment w/ shoulder strap or tactical vest
    • Duty body armor
    • Pen and note pad (small enough for pocket carry)
    • Water
    • Snacks
    • Lunch (we will not be taking lunch breaks long enough to leave for food)

 

  • Clothing or uniforms appropriate to the weather conditions

$425 per officer
