OTG LE Vehicle Tcatics Low Light course is a 16 Hour, 2 Night Tennessee POST certified Low Light Patrol Tactics course. Students will learn the skills necessary to deal with threats encountered during hours of limited visibility while they are within the confines and also in close proximity to their patrol vehicle as well as how to effectively deal with threats who are inside a vehicle. This is the most in depth Low Light Patrol Stops Tactics course available covering both 1 and 2 officer Vehicle and Pedestrian Stops at night in both Live Fire and Force on Force training environments.
FoF equipment will be provided by OTG and consist of UTM weapons, safety gear and ammunition. OTG’s Side arms are G17 platform weapons. If your department uses another platform you are welcome to bring your agency’s Simunitions or UTM pistols and ammunition for use in the class. ONLY UTM OR SIMUNITIONS BRAND FOF EQUIPMENT MAY BE USED IN THIS CLASS.

Prerequisites:
Students MUST be prior graduates of the OTG LE Vehicle Tactics course
Students must be Sworn Law Enforcement Officers (Local, State or Federal agencies)

- 200 rounds of long gun ammunition

- 300 rounds of handgun ammunition
- Hand Held Light
- Extra Batteries
- Holster and magazine pouches
- Pen and notebook
- Hat or other head covering
- Gloves (Optional but strongly recommended)
- Knee and elbow pads (Optional)
- Eye and ear protection
- Rain gear (as applicable)
- Adequate personal water supply
It is recommended that you bring any other applicable gear you will have with you on duty (rapid deployment bags etc).
